Like many of my other works this is an act of getting to know a place, getting intimate and wanting to celebrate the place by highlighting it’s characteristics. The colors symbolize my relationship with the place: My experience of it and emotions towards it. I am inspired by how the sun travels over the landscape on a partly clouded day, kissing parts of the scenery. With Plenty of Love I seek to treat the land, the way the light treats it: To lift up a random place and make it shine. Now it’s not random anymore but special to me.
